It  has  been  pointed  out  by  leaders
everywhere that if repudiation by Great
Britain of the Balfour Declaration and
the League of Nations Mandate, with the
stoppage of Jewish Immigration, should
come about it would be virtually a viola-
tion of “a sacred trust in behalf of the
Christian world.” Palestine is the only
hope of many distressed Jews. To take
that refuge from them would be cruelk,
uncalled for and almost inconceivable.
Strong forces are at work to prevent this.
Let us hope that they will be successful.
