About 125 Jewish families re-
ceived telegrams today signed by
Dr. Morton J. Robbins, president
of the Nashua Kadimah District,
Mrs. Jacob Rothenberg, president of
Hadassah and Miss Bertha Edel-
stein, president of Junior Hadassah,
calling attention to an important
special meeting at 7:30 o’clock this
evening at the Beth Abraham Syna-
gogue for the purpose of taking
concentrated  action  against  the
possibility  of  the  abandoning  by
England of the Balfour treaty, thus
creating a crisis for Jewish re-
fugees  the  world  over.
  Leaders of Jewry the world over
are protesting and are appealing
to England to maintain their treaty.
